This kit combines our Subframe Connectors and Detroit Speed EXO Brace. The Detroit Speed Subframe Connectors are designed to give maximum torsional stiffness by connecting the front and rear frame rails. The connectors do not hang lower than the rocker pinch flange so ground clearance is unaffected. In addition to front seat mounting brackets that are stronger than factory, the connectors provide torque box and lower link reinforcement. The greatest value of this kit is that it fixes two common Fox Body issues with a single integrated solution. The Detroit Speed EXO Brace fixes a notorious failure point on the Fox Body platform. This is the point where the upper links mount to the chassis. The factory torque boxes weaken over time and are known to tear or even rip completely out of the vehicle. Losing an upper link mount can result in unpredictable handling and is dangerous at any speed. Detroit Speed has developed an effective bolt-on (or weld-in) solution that improves the rigidity of the torque box, prevents damage to the chassis, and improves the safety of the vehicle. It ties the link pockets into the frame and floor pan on both sides and connects the two boxes side-to-side with a telescoping feature. The Detroit Speed EXO Brace kit is a highly recommended addition to any Fox Body Mustang; especially those that are driven hard with higher horsepower.;Fixes multiple Fox Body reinforcement issues with this single component, minimizing the need and costs to replace multiple individual components;Reinforces the lower link pocket and strengthens the rear torque box to stop common cracking;Strengthens seat mounts without interfering with stock mounting;Connects the rear torque box to the firewall creating one continuous frame rail;Fabricated from 2" x 2" x .083 steel tube and .090 plate for superior stiffness with minimal added weight;Compatible with stock suspension;Does not affect ground clearance;Bolt-on Kit with Weld-in capability;Fixes weaknesses in the upper torque box with bolt on solution to prevent tearing in cars up to 400hp;Welding the kit in supports torque boxes in cars 400+hp;Ties link pockets into the frame and floor pan on both sides of the frame rail, as well as connecting the two boxes side to side with a telescoping feature;Provides second adjustment hole for upper link to help correct instant center on lowered cars;Works with factory links in both hole positions
